iQOO — a sub of Vivo — who make gaming centric devices, made their debut in India with iQOO 3. Now after almost a year they have two new smartphones under iQOO 7 series — iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Lengend. So far their main focus has been the market of china as iQOO 3 is the only smartphone which they sold globally. Although iQOO 3 didn’t exactly lived upto their moto — of being gaming centric — as it lacked high refresh rate display.
iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend Specs
Both smartphones iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend comes with same 6.62–inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. It boost peak brightness of 1300nits. iQOO 7 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SOC and Legend is powered by more powerful Snapdragon 888 SOC. Both phones comes with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS3.1 based storage. These Smartphones also comes with Dedicated Chip which iQOO is calling “Intelligent Display Chip” which will help in real time SDR to HDR conversion and MEMC.
On the rear both smartphones come with Triple Cam Setup housing — 48MP f/1.79 Sony IMX598 Lens, 2MP f/2.4 monochrome Lens and a 13MP f/2.2 lens but both have a different type. iQOO 7’s is wide angle/Macro and Legend’s is 50mm Portrait/2x Optical zoom. Both come with 16MP Punch Hole style front facing camera.
Both phone support 66W fast charging and iQOO 7 has 4400mAh battery and Legend has 4000mAh battery.
Legend is Actually more of a gaming centric than its vanilla version — the iQOO 7. I’m saying this cause Legend boasts some exclusive gaming features and hardware which is not available on the vanilla version. Like the Monster Touch feature, which offers an on-screen virtual joystick and control pad with pressure-sensitive digital buttons. iQOO claims this setup will let gamers play with two fingers and still accomplish what they could do with four fingers.
