Redmi Note 10S, which is already available in European and some other markets is going to launch in India on May 13. And just couple of days before its launch in India, Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12.5 update for it.

MIUI 12.5 was launched back in December for Chinese market and then in February for global market. It will bring the usual goodies like MIUI light Cone Motion Effect, dedicated thread for gestures, dynamic wallpapers, revamped notification and improved haptics and many more.

Build number for this update is 12.5.3.0.RKLEUXM for Europe, 12.5.5.0.RKLMIXM for other global markets, and 12.5.2.0.RLLINXM for India. This means either it will come preinstalled on Indian units or maybe as day-one update.

The builds that are on their way to the Redmi Note 10S are as follows: 12.5.3.0.RKLEUXM for Europe, 12.5.5.0.RKLMIXM for other global markets, and 12.5.2.0.RLLINXM for India. This will either be preinstalled on units that will go on sale in India, or will be presented as a day-one update once you take the phone out of the box.

Specifications of Redmi Note 10S

Redmi Note 10S comes with  6.43–inch FHD+ AMOLED display, boasting 1100nits of peak brightness. It is powered by Mediatek’s Helio G95 SOC paired with upto 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

As for camera’s it comes with Quad cam setup at the rear housing — a 64MP f/1.79 main lens — 8MP f/2.2 Ultrawide Lens with FOV of 118 degrees– 2MP f/2.4 Macro Lens and 2MP f/2.4 Depth Senor. For selfies it could come with 13MP f/2.45 front facing camera.

It features a side mounted fingerprint scanner, USB type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, 33W fast charging, NFC, IR Blaster and IP53 dust and water resistant rating
