The launch of the Poco F5 has been highly anticipated, and the brand’s Indian head has recently started teasing its arrival. Today, Qualcomm Snapdragon India announced that the Poco F5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 SoC, making it the first smartphone in the country with this chip.

It is now known that the forthcoming Poco F5 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo for global markets, and almost all the details about the device are already available.

The Poco F5 features a 6.67-inch 12-bit 120Hz OLED display, dual stereo speakers, a 64MP primary camera with OIS, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

The Indian variant of the phone will feature 256GB storage as the default option, and customers can choose between 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. The official price and availability of the device are currently unknown, but it is possible that these details will be leaked soon as the launch date approaches.
