Earlier this week, the Moto Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40 were launched in China, following numerous leaks and rumors. While these devices have also been announced in the global market, they bear different names. However, the Indian market was initially excluded from the launch. Fortunately, Motorola has now teased the imminent release of the Razr 40 Ultra in India. Here are the details.

Motorola has recently teased the launch of the Razr 40 Ultra in India through a tweet. The tweet mentioned “A FLIPin’ awesome gift awaits” and included a video showcasing the silhouette of a flip smartphone with a prominently sized cover screen. It is highly probable that this smartphone corresponds to the Ultra model, as the standard version features a smaller bar-like cover screen. However, the tweet did not provide any specific information regarding the launch date or other details about the device.

Specifications of Razr 40 Ultra

the Moto Razr 40 Ultra features an exceptionally large 3.6-inch external display, which is currently the largest on a clamshell foldable device. The cover screen boasts a 10-bit AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1066 x 1056 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The external display offers extensive usability, allowing users to perform various tasks just like on the internal display.

The main display of the device is an LTPO AMOLED panel, measuring 6.69 inches, and providing a FHD+ resolution. It offers a high refresh rate of 165Hz, HDR10+ support, and peak brightness of 1,400 nits. The smartphone utilizes an Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) panel with five-layer protection, ensuring a seamless experience when the device is closed.

Under the hood, the Moto Razr 40 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The device features a 12MP main sensor, accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide lens that also doubles as a macro camera.
