Realme recently introduced a couple of smartphones and TWS earphones in India, and is now preparing to add yet another new entry in their C-series smartphone-lineup in the country. The company teased the launch of the new smartphone on X, with the caption “Buckle up as the newest champion is coming soon in town!”

The post also includes an image of the smartphone with a Dynamic Island-like feature called Mini Capsule. This is not the first Realme smartphone to have this feature, as the C55, which was launched in March, also has Mini Capsule. However, the C55 has a punch-hole display, while the upcoming phone has a notched display.

The Realme C51 is powered by a 12nm octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.82GHz. The Mali-G57 GPU handles graphically intensive tasks. It has 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage onboard. The smartphone also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion by up to 2TB. It runs Android 13-based Realme UI T Edition out of the box.

The Realme C51 has a 6.74″ 90Hz screen (likely LCD) with 560 nits peak brightness, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a notch for the 5MP selfie shooter. The back panel has dual-finish and sports three circles – one for the flash and two for the cameras (50MP primary and what could be a depth sensor).

The Realme C51 is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery, advertised to go from flat to 50% in 28 minutes. The smartphone also comes with an NFC chip, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It has Mint Green and Carbon Black color options, both of which will come to India. However, it remains to be seen if they will have the same marketing names in the world’s second-largest smartphone market.
