Motorola is amping up its Edge 50 family with the imminent launch of the standard Edge 50. This new addition joins the already announced Edge 50 Fusion, Pro, and Ultra, bolstering Motorola’s mid-range offerings.

The phone’s arrival in India is confirmed thanks to a recent Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, which also suggests a wider global launch is on the horizon.

While Motorola remains tight-lipped about the full specifications, an earlier FCC certification has provided some insights. The Edge 50 is expected to boast a generous 5,000 mAh battery, perfect for power users on the go.

This hefty battery will be complemented by support for 68W fast charging, ensuring you’re not left tethered to an outlet for long. In terms of connectivity, the Edge 50 is expected to cover all the bases with NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and 5G compatibility.

The flurry of certifications across various regions point towards an imminent official unveiling of the Edge 50. Stay tuned as we wait for Motorola to shed more light on the phone’s specs and release date.
