OnePlus just announced that the Nord 4 will be unveiled at a Milan, Italy event on July 16. Leaks initially suggested it would be a rebranded OnePlus Ace 3V, but new information reveals a different design.

Multiple leaks within the last 20 hours confirm the Nord 4’s distinct design compared to the Ace 3V. The metal invite hints at a metal build, which is confirmed by the leaked images showing a mostly metal back with a glass top portion.

The first leaked image showcases three colorways, likely representing all launch options as OnePlus typically offers no more than three. Two additional live images provide a closer look at the phone’s unique black rear design.

This design certainly stands out from the crowd, unlike any other phone on the market today. While achieving uniqueness is a success, the design strays so far from other OnePlus phones that brand recognition might be affected.

The Nord 4 is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, positioning it as a strong upper-midrange performer. This chip sits just below the Snapdragon 8 series, and we expect the Nord 4 to be competitively priced.
