Samsung has released good news for Galaxy users—its Singapore press release confirms that more devices will receive the One UI 7 update than previously expected.

Until now, we only knew that newer models would get the update: the Galaxy S24 and S23 series, the Z Fold6 and Fold5, the Z Flip6 and Flip5, and the Galaxy Tab S10 and S9. However, Samsung has extended the list to include models dating back to 2021.

Here are some of the Galaxy devices confirmed to receive One UI 7 (though this isn’t the full list):

Galaxy S Series

  • Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra
  • Galaxy S24 FE
  • Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra
  • Galaxy S23 FE
  • Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra
  • Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra
  • Galaxy S21 FE

Galaxy Z Foldables

  • Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6
  • Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5
  • Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4
  • Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3

Galaxy Tab Series

  • Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra
  • Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra
  • Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+
  • Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra
  • Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) and Tab S6 Lite (2022)*

*Samsung didn’t specify the year for the Tab S6 Lite in its press release. The 2024 model is a definite inclusion, while the 2022 version remains a strong possibility. However, the original 2020 model already ended its update cycle with Android 13.

Samsung also plans to update a range of Galaxy A series phones, although the company hasn’t revealed that list yet. That confirms this isn’t the final roster of One UI 7 recipients.

As for rollout timing, Samsung hasn’t offered specific dates for most devices. However, the company did confirm staggered release dates for different regions: April 7, April 10, and April 14. The Singapore press release pins April 14 as the update date for that region.
