According to a new rumor, Google plans to launch the Pixel 10 Pro Fold this August at a lower price than its predecessor. The device will reportedly cost $1,600—$200 less than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s launch price.

In 2027, Google is expected to release the Pixel 12 Pro Fold for $1,500. While these foldables still won’t match the affordability of slab-style flagship smartphones, the gradual price cuts are noteworthy—if they actually happen.

Google reportedly aims to continue releasing four new Pixel models every August for the next few years, maintaining the pattern it began in 2024. The company will also keep launching a new Pixel a series phone each spring.
Pixel a devices will continue to start at $499, a trend expected to last through the Pixel 12a in 2028. Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro XL will see price increases of around $100 each compared to their predecessors. The Pixel 10 is expected to start at $800, and the 10 Pro XL at $1,200. Interestingly, the Pixel 10 Pro may avoid a price hike for reasons that remain unclear.
