Motorola unveiled its flagship Edge 50 Ultra in India today, two months after its global debut. The phone boasts a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, a versatile 64MP 3x periscope camera, and a unique real wood back panel.

Following the trend of 2024 launches, Motorola India heavily emphasized the Edge 50 Ultra’s new AI capabilities. The phone can generate images, leverage Google Photos’ AI features, and offers RAM Boost 3.0 and a Battery Optimization tool.

Durability is also a focus, with the Edge 50 Ultra sporting an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Users can enjoy immersive audio thanks to Dolby Atmos with Dolby Head Tracking. Additionally, the phone boasts a Pantone-validated camera and display, ensuring accurate color reproduction.

Powering the device is a 4,500 mAh battery that supports incredibly fast 125W TurboPower charging. Motorola offers the Edge 50 Ultra in three distinct colors: Nordic Wood, vegan leather Forest Gray, and the trendy Peach Fuzz, which aligns with the 2024 Pantone Color of the Year. Priced at INR59,999 (approximately $720/€670), sales kick off on June 24th through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and select offline stores.
