Earlier today, Redmi unveiled the Turbo 4, the first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC. Realme had previously announced plans to use this chipset in an upcoming device, and speculation pointed to the Realme Neo7 SE.

Today, Realme confirmed these rumors, revealing that the Neo7 SE will indeed arrive next month featuring the Dimensity 8400 Max. While the Redmi Turbo 4 uses the Dimensity 8400 Ultra, it’s important to note that these suffixes are primarily marketing terms and usually don’t signify significant differences in performance.

Renowned Weibo leaker, Digital Chat Station, has now revealed a key specification of the Neo7 SE: a massive 7,000mAh battery. This significant capacity promises to take smartphone longevity to a new level.

Realme also claims that the Neo7 SE will boast improved heat dissipation and overall performance compared to its predecessor, which is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, the previous king of the mid-range.
