Realme finally announced the GT Neo 5 SE in China after weeks of teasers. The company has equipped the new device with some of the same key specs as the regular GT Neo 5, but with three notable differences in the chipset, camera, and battery departments.

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, powers the GT Neo 5 SE along with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The camera setup includes a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide module, and a 2MP microscope lens.

The Realme GT Neo 5 SE features a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with 2772 x 1240 px resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The punch hole cutout houses a 16MP selfie camera, and an optical under-display fingerprint scanner is also included.The GT Neo 5 SE differs from the GT Neo 5 in battery capacity and charging speeds. The SE model offers a 5,500 mAh capacity, whereas the GT Neo 5 has a 5,000 mAh capacity. Additionally, the SE model charges at 100W speeds, while the GT Neo 5’s charging solution is 150W. Realme UI 4.0 runs on top of Android 13 on the software side.

Realme GT Neo 5 SE comes in blue and black colors. Pricing in China starts at CNY 2,099 ($305) for the 8/256GB trim and tops out at CNY 2,799 ($406) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version. Open sales in China start on April 10.
