For nearly two years, there have been rumors circulating about Google’s Pixel Fold, a highly anticipated foldable device. Recently, leakster Kuba Wojciechowski shared a short six-second video that provides us with a live glimpse of the upcoming Pixel Fold, giving us our best look yet at the device.
After examining the leaked video of the Pixel Fold, it can be observed that the device closely resembles the renders that were previously released, complete with a noticeable bezel surrounding the main folding screen. The shape and size of the device also appear to be similar to that of Oppo’s Find N2.
The most recent rumors suggest that the Pixel Fold will feature a 7.6-inch primary screen and a 5.8-inch cover screen, both of which are expected to be OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is anticipated to have dimensions of 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7mm (with a thickness of 8.3mm including the rear camera bump), and it will allegedly be equipped with the Tensor G2 chipset.
Sources suggest that the Pixel Fold will make its first appearance at the upcoming Google I/O event starting on May 10th. It’s rumored that the device will be available for open sales in late June with a starting price of $1,799. The Pixel Fold will reportedly come in two colors: Carbon and Porcelain.
