Final Cut Pro

The all-new touch interface and intuitive tools in Final Cut Pro for iPad unlock new workflows for video creators. Users can interact with content in new ways using a jog wheel that makes the editing process easier than ever before. They can navigate the Magnetic Timeline, move clips, and make fast frame-accurate edits with just a tap of a finger, pushing their creativity to new heights with the immediacy and intuitiveness of Multi-Touch gestures.

Apple Pencil enables users to draw and write directly on top of video content with Live Drawing. On iPad Pro with M2, Apple Pencil hover allows users to skim and preview footage quickly without touching the screen. Adding a Magic Keyboard or Smart Keyboard Folio enables creators to speed up their workflows by utilizing key commands.

Users can view and edit stunning HDR video, taking advantage of the Liquid Retina XDR display on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and apply color grades accurately using Reference Mode. Final Cut Pro for iPad will be available on the App Store as a subscription starting Tuesday, May 23.

Logic Pro for iPad

Logic Pro for iPad allows music creators to combine the power of Logic Pro with the portability of iPad to create a professional music creation app. With Multi-Touch gestures, creators can play software instruments and interact naturally with controls, navigate complex projects with pinch-to-zoom and swipe-to-scroll. Plug-in Tiles put the most useful controls at their fingertips, making it easy to quickly shape sounds. They can capture voice or instrument recordings with the built-in mics on iPad and with five studio-quality mics on iPad Pro, they can turn virtually any space into a recording studio. Apple Pencil can be used to make precision edits and draw detailed track automation, and Smart Keyboard Folio or Magic Keyboard can be connected to utilize key commands that speed up production.
